A lovely day

Dear friends,

Today was simply marvelous. (o^_____^o) ♥ This morning I got a lovely package from one of my old mentors. She made me two sheets of handmade paper and gave me two of her lovely pieces (as seen above). Of course I couldn't have both because she said that one was for my older sister, but I couldn't have been happier! Later on (since it was sunny) my sisters and I decided to go out with the baby for a little stroll with our cousins and their parents at the beach. It was a nice walk, and after we got to brake for some ice cream, but once we got home we were STAAARVIIIIIING! (o^_____^o) So I whipped up some food for all of us with the new arm covers mama got for me from Daiso (giggle, giggle)!

I felt so asian, (o=_____=o) ♥ but when I was cooking with them I didn't have to worry about oil getting on my sleeves or just on my arms period, because it HURTS when the oil just splatters on you. I  simply DETEST IT. So I made sure to thank my mama for the thoughtful gift. I really love them. (o^_____^o)

My new job

Dear friends,

Guess what! I got a new job! Yes! (o^_____^o) ♥ I'm back in the Farmer's Market - located in the Fillmore District of San Francisco - but instead of selling succulent strawberries, I am now selling dangerously delicious goods made by Miss Terri of "Divine Petites"! It's all so exciting and today was officially my second day of work. (giggle, giggle) Last night was a very fulfilling work day for me. I got to help prep and bake some of the delicious sweets that we got to serve today.

I learned a lot that night and look forward to learning more from my wonderful boss Miss Terri! She's a wonderful woman with a great love for baking succulent sweets that she knows people will enjoy, and I've come to love her ways already even though it's only been two days. (o^_____^o) So whenever you're in the city on Saturday or Sunday drop on by and give her a try! You won't regret it!

(sigh) Unfortunately I didn't get to document my day, but hopefully I can next time!

Family time at the beach

Dear friends,

Today was awesome, because I got to go to the beach with my familia after church! Plus there was an eclipse! Unfortunately I couldn't see the whole event through, but I had fun nonetheless. I got to boogie board with my cousin too! That was a ton of fun - getting to catch the waves and float to shore. (o^_____^o) ♥ Plus we had a boat load of snacks so we were all chowin' down. (giggle, giggle) I'm definitely thinking about purchasing a boogie board. Oh! I also got some new 45's today (the old vinyl records)! Hopefully I can share them with you all.

Last day at Rayko

Dear friends,

Today was my last day at Rayko with First Exposures (for now anyways). I had a lot of fun with the Fx Crew, and took lots of photo-booth pictures with my friends and family. One of the mentors even gave me a cool fake tattoo (above)! (o^_____^o)  ♥ The sun has also been shining the past few days - the perfect weather for nature photographs - reminding me of the summer to come. Ah, sweet summer. I can't wait!

Busy, busy, busy!

Dear friends,

The day before yesterday was filled with a sleepy niece, a slice of love, 45's, and sweet, succulent cupcakes at the CAbi party. It was my first time attending a CAbi party, and at first I was a bit skeptical about it, but it turned out to be a lot of fun. I loved trying on all of the different clothes with the other ladies and my older sisters. Hope you're having a wonderful day today.
